OUR STORY

“All things grow with time, except grief.” — Jewish Proverb

It’s a story of two people – Lynda and Mir:

• They came to Canada from two different countries – England and India;
• They believed in two different religions – Judaism and Islam;
• They represented two different races – White and Asian;  and
• They spoke two different native languages – English and Urdu. 

Yet, they lived together blossoming for 50 years in various parts of Canada – Ontario, New Brunswick, Alberta, and British Columbia – and the USA – Las Vegas. They traveled to France, Australia, New Zealand, Mexico, Cuba, Fiji, Venezuela, and the United Kingdom – England, Scotland, Wales, and Northern Island. They lived in Oxford, UK, for a while when Mir was doing his Ecology Courses at Oxford University.

They were both married before and Lynda had two daughters – Ruth and Maxine – from a previous marriage.  They had a son together, Adam, who’s happily married to Lindsay and they live together with their four kids in Manotick, Ontario, Canada.
